Mehdi KHIR
Chief Operating Officer
Mehdi KHIR serves as Chief Operating Officer of the FINACTU Group. In this role, he is primarily responsible for steering and coordinating all internal operations, organizing and overseeing support functions, and initiating and leading transformation projects.
Mehdi began his career in consulting at CGI, where he supported financial institutions and industrial groups in the implementation of technology transformation projects. He later joined PwC, where he led several strategic and operational assignments for pan-African banking groups and financial institutions, particularly focusing on the development of new business models and the transformation of finance functions.
He later joined the Banque Centrale Populaire Group, where he held several roles within Strategy and Finance. He contributed to the design and monitoring of the Group’s strategic plans, and led financial planning as well as the transformation of the Finance function at Group level.
He subsequently joined SBI, a consulting firm specialized in Data, AI, and EPM, as Executive Vice President in charge of the Middle East, Turkey & Africa region. He contributed to the establishment of the Casablanca and Riyadh offices and supported the firm’s regional growth, notably through partnership development, expansion of commercial functions, building consulting teams, and overseeing operations, finance, and HR functions.
Mehdi holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from EM Lyon Business School and an engineering degree from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC).
Mehdi is French-Moroccan and lives in Casablanca.

Leyla has been a Senior Manager at FINACTU since 2025, bringing nearly ten years of experience in strategy and transformation consulting within the financial services industry. She previously worked at Advancy, Exton Consulting, and Accenture Strategy, where she supported banks, insurance companies, and investment funds on growth, performance, and transformation initiatives.
